Tenant sent to prison for breaching injunction

Release Date: 04-Mar-2009
Forty four year-old Scott Albert Bradbury of 8, Elim Walk, Eightlands, Dewsbury, was sentenced to 28 days' imprisonment yesterday for breaching an Injunction obtained by KNH to stop him harassing his neighbours.
KNH obtained the Injunction on February 17th as a result of Bradbury's behaviour towards his neighbours. However, on the night of 25th February he breached it four times and was arrested by the Police as a result.

He appeared before Huddersfield County Court on Tuesday 3rd March where the sentence was imposed.

Paul Buckley, KNH's Director of Neighbourhoods said "This sentence sends a clear message to our tenants and residents that we will not tolerate people behaving in this way on our estates.

“We will, and do, vigorously pursue those who cause distress and harassment to others and our Community Protection Team will continue to work with West Yorkshire Police to ensure that those who do are dealt with quickly and effectively.”
