Board Member expenses

KNH has a Board Member Expenses Policy that reflects the practices of similar organisations.
Board Members are not paid for their work with the company, but they can claim out of pocket expenses on the basis of reimbursement for costs incurred while carrying out KNH business. Eligible costs include travel expenses, telephone charges (for KNH business calls) and childcare costs. The Expenses Policy was updated in late 2008.

Tenant and Independent Members of the Main Board are entitled to claim expenses from KNH. Elected Members of Kirklees Council who are on the Board have a separate process of Members’ Allowances.
