The new partnership means that Excel discount card holders can save more than 50% on tickets to Super League games in 2012.

The club is also supporting other elements of KNH Excel, including its schools citizenship project, KNH Kids, and Giants players will help with community activities across Kirklees.

Giants Managing Director, Richard Thewlis said: “The partnership will work well for us as a club as we continue to expand our community initiatives and we hope will bring us into contact with new supporters of our club.”

Andy Selman, KNH’s Director of Strategy and Resources, said: “We’re really pleased to be going in to partnership with Huddersfield Giants.

“Their offer of reduced priced match tickets will open up the sport to many of our tenants and the joint work we can do together in the local community will help KNH deliver our mission of quality homes and services in successful communities.”

KNH Excel is an incentive scheme that rewards and recognises good tenants and encourages others who might have rent arrears to clear their accounts. Benefits include an award-winning discount card, community grants and good neighbour awards.
