As a company KNH are committed to looking at ways of raising people’s perceptions and awareness of the needs of our young people, and to build a positive and inclusive approach to help our younger tenants and residents to move forward and succeed with their tenancies and their lives.

With this in mind The Young Peoples Support Managers have a group of volunteer officers from across KNH who are Young Peoples Champions. They hold a variety of roles within KNH but have a common interest in the well being and safety of children and young people across our neighbourhoods.

They are also committed to make sure our services are inclusive and will help and support young people according to their needs by going the extra mile by making things happen for them. Some of our Champions are undertaking additional training to improve their skills to enable them to be Young Peoples Mentors as well as supporting the Safeguarding Childrens Coordinators in delivering Child Protection training their KNH frontline colleagues.
