Launched in 2005, KNH Excel is one way of helping of KNH delivering our mission statement of ‘quality homes and services in successful communities’.

Working with a range of internal and external partners, KNH Excel aims to both recognise and reward all of our tenants, leaseholders and staff as well as forging relationships in and helping to sustain our local communities by providing a wide range of benefitsand initiatives.

Who qualifies for KNH excel benefits?

You are automatically eligible for any of the scheme benefits if you :

Are a secure tenant who has successfully passed the introductory tenancy period
A leaseholder of a KNH property
Do not owe KNH any money, or, if you do, have kept to a successful payment plan for a minimum of 13 weeks
Have not broken either the conditions of your tenancy or lease
Some KNH Excel benefits are also open to KNH and Kirklees Council staff

What are the KNH excel benefits?

Since 2005, KNH Excel has continued to grow and develop with a variety of scheme benefits. These include:

Community Grants – up to £500 available for any project that benefits our local estates and communities.
Nominate a Neighbour - an award for those neighbours who make a difference. Receive a £25 cash award and certificate.
Annual Garden Competition – our successful garden competition with many categories up for grabs prizes from £50 - £100 in vouchers and features in our KNH Excel magazine.
KNH Excel Discount Card – our national award winning card – look online for over 240 local shops and businesses who are offering discounts exclusively for you.
KNH Kids – working with local key stage 2 schools, KNH and a range of partners have developed long term partnerships where we deliver a range of lessons and sponsorship.

News of these and other initiatives can be found in the KNH Excel magazine, which is delivered to every household on our estates 3 times a year and which is also found on this website.
