‘Achievers’ is the name of KNH’s Community Leadership Academy. The academy is closely linked to the work we are doing to reduce worklessness and promote health and well-being, in partnership with Kirklees Council and other agencies.

The academy provides information, advice and guidance to people wanting help to choose a course suitable for them. It is run by KNH, with support from a team of 14 volunteer community learning champions.

Achievers operates at two levels. First, as a registered provider with Kirklees Adult Learning, the academy delivers its own learning and development induction programme for staff and community members interested in community leadership.

Second, the academy works closely with other learning providers such as Northern College and Kirklees College to promote learning opportunities out in the local community.
